Why did you join UOMSC?
I wanted to help spread awareness about Multiple Sclerosis (MS), while also raising funds that go towards supporting research and aiding people living with MS, including my best friend. Through fundraising and awareness initiatives, I hope we can bring about positive change, discover better treatment options, and eventually even a cure!
Fun fact: I have skied on the Rocky Mountains!

I’m passionate about raising awareness for multiple sclerosis. This disease often affects people invisibly, and the challenges it brings are often overlooked.

Why did you join UOMSC?
My mom has MS, which has inspired me to dedicate my time to making a meaningful impact by supporting research, advancing treatment options, and raising awareness.

I chose to join UOMSC so I could be involved in spreading awareness and raising money for MS patients and research. I also chose to be involved so that I could learn more about chronic diseases!

MS has been a reality that my family had had to live with my whole life. I joined UOMSC because I want to help fundraise and raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis in our student community.
Fun fact: I am a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.

Why did you join UOMSC?
I joined UOMSC because I think it’s a truly unique initiative on campus. MS is a disease that doesn’t always get the attention or research it deserves, and I wanted to be part of a group that raises awareness and supports such an important cause. I’ve loved everything the club has done so far, and I’m excited to contribute to its impact.
Fun fact: I make the best lavender matcha latte — it’s my specialty.

Why did you join UOMSC?
My mom was diagnosed with MS when I was six years old. Witnessing her journey from a young age showed me how much MS impacts every aspect of life, including the physical pain and limitations, as well as the social challenges that come with a disease full of “invisible” symptoms. This has made me passionate about raising awareness on MS, helping people understand the realities of living with MS, and advocating for support and funding for research toward a cure.
Fun fact: I've had eight concussions.

MS is a condition that has affected people very close to me and I would like to learn more about it while educating others simultaneously.

Why did you join UOMSC?
I initially wanted to join a club that truly wanted to help the community and raise money for research in the health field. This is my third year with UOMSC now because it has been an amazing opportunity and truly the best team!!
Fun fact: I've only been skiing once and I crashed into a tree!

With a passion for health advocacy, I joined UOMSC right at the start of my undergrad to be part of its commitment to raising awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. I am beyond happy to continue my involvement with the team & be part of an initiative that empowers students to get involved in advocacy efforts and spark conversations around MS!
Fun fact: I've never broken a bone!

Why did you join UOMSC?
I chose to be involved in UOMSC to support people with neurodegenerative diseases, which is something that my grandfather struggled with. I also believe it's a great way to learn more about neurodegenerative diseases, which I am keen to become more knowledgeable about!
Fun fact: I love travelling and I collect postcards from every city I visit!

Neurodegenerative diseases have always intrigued me, and UOMSC was a great opportunity to learn more about multiple sclerosis, raise awareness about the disease, and join a team dedicated to a philanthropic approach to raising funds for future research on MS.
